How else would you explain the Obama Language Centre? You can be certain it didn't exist prior to 2008.
Maybe it's named that way because the owner is a fan of the President of the United States. Or maybe it's because Obama is easy to transliterate; it's far easier than Bush, and to my knowledge there's no Bush Language Centre in the city (not that I blame anyone; it would be the kiss of death for a business).
Or maybe the owner figured that Obama's popularity would somehow translate into students in the classrooms. Whatever the case, it's blatant opportunism, and in the end it may be short-sighted.
