If you're an idiot, you can have the 32GB iPhone 4 ahead of the official Apple release in Hong Kong by forking over HK$14,800 (about US$1,900) for an unlocked phone imported from England.

And trust me when I say there are people in the Big Lychee who will pay it just to be first. The price tag is more than six times that of a locked phone on contract with US telecom provider: US$299.

Non-idiots will wait until the price comes down and the bugs have been worked out.
