Fortress of Solitude

Anguish, a definition: being smashed into a tiny flat with more than 20 people who are all talking at the same time, while the TV blasts inane Chinese New Year programming at high volume and not one but two discordant mah jong games are taking place in the corner.

For a guy who doesn't enjoy crowds or noise all that much, it seems a bit insane that I live in Hong Kong. But I still love it here, even more so now that I've discovered a solution that will allow me to retain my sanity during the imminent Year of the Tiger.
