Backpacks Can Hold Weapons

How many times must I tell you: if you want to avoid trouble with Hong Kong gangs, don't get involved in vices.

Or stare.

Two 20-something French tourists learned that lesson the hard way by staring at a group of nine teenagers at a McDonald's in Mong Kok in the wee hours of the morning. At 6am the knives, water pipes and wooden rods came out and the two received a beating.

Well, what did they expect? Other than triad wannabes, the only teenagers up that early in the morning en masse are going hiking.

But whether or not they're carrying backpacks, you'd do well to keep your eyes to yourself.
