The Mangler

There are times you wish life would not imitate art, such as Stephen King's short story, The Mangler, in which a demon-possessed commercial ironing and folding machine begins to eat people.

In what is a near mirror of book events, minus the supernatural, an 18-year-old Hong Kong woman got her hair caught in the rollers of just such a machine and none of the workers around her could turn the thing off.

I don't need to tell you what happened next.

That's too creepy for words.
