Here Are Your Boots; Next!

Most people know that Hong Kong children must wear uniforms when they go to school.

Depending on the school these can vary from stylish to ugly and drab. But some schools, for reasons unknown, elect to dress kids in uniforms that make less than flattering statements.

I've lost count of the number of kids I've seen dressed entirely in white, loose-fitting outfits that make them look like refugees from restaurant kitchen duty. All that's missing are the ubiquitous rubber boots that actual kitchen workers wear.

As an advertisement of their ability to turn out well-educated adults capable of qualifying for better jobs than scraping off dishes, such schools earn a gigantic red F.
