For HK$50, the witches crones "ritual performers" take a paper effigy of your nemesis and beat it with the heel of a shoe while raining maledictions upon the hapless target.

Yet some folks went to ask for blessings of good luck and good health for themselves and their family, which could be a waste of money.

What if their enemy shows up later to imprecate them in return?
