S-Hook
Hong Kongers are big believers in S-hooks.
If there's a place to hang a bag, an S-hook will be involved. The most common use is aboard buses, where people suspend grocery bags from the safety handle on the seat back. The practice has rubbed off; for the first time since my arrival I used an S-hook to keep my grocery bag off the floor of the minibus as I road home.
It felt like an 'old lady' move, but I did it anyway.
I have no shame.
