Festive Firecrackers

Despite that firecrackers are illegal, near 12am and all though the next morning I heard long strings exploding up and down the valley, ushering in the Year of the Ox.

Since the police don't seem to care, perhaps it's time to lift the ban altogether. Lighting firecrackers is a wonderful and exciting tradition that should be observed without the risk of prosecution.

Yes, even at midnight.
