Should Have Known Better

From the "What's that smell?" files comes the story of a Hong Kong man missing for more than two months, who turned up dismembered, wrapped in plastic bags, and stuffed into three suitcases in a Macao flat.

Nothing like a little light reading over your morning coffee, huh?

He was found after a resident in another flat called police about the stench. The cops believe the remains to be that of a 60-year old alleged triad member who was active in the casino business. They think he was whacked over an outstanding HK$5 million loan that had stood unpaid for years.

That's one difference between Macao and Las Vegas; in Vegas no loan shark is that patient.

The other is that in Vegas, bodies don't get found, because they're in holes all over the desert.
