Air Con

Air conditioning; or as Hong Kongers call it: aircon.

Pros:

· Dehumidifies.

· Keeps the room a consistent, comfortable temperature.

· Makes it much easier to tolerate the searing, sticky summer season.

Cons:

· Horrendous power hog.

· Gets moldy when not in use and then stinks.

· Gives cockroaches a handy highway into the house.

The cons have it, and now the diminutive has an extra shade of meaning.
