No More April Fool's Jokes

In the past I've posted April Fool's jokes on this site, tricking a few folks into believing several tall tales, including:

1. that I was being deported for a criminal act;

2. that a Star Ferry had sunk in Victoria Harbour, and;

3. that terrorists were caught plotting to take down an airliner with a Stinger offshore of Chek Lap Kok airport.

I was particularly chastised for that last one, because these days such a scenario could be all too real (though it's not a new idea; terrorists have thought of it before).

As part of site housekeeping I've long since removed all the old pranks from the Notes Archive, therefore I've also decided there will be no April Fool's joke this year, so you can relax.

Besides, I don't have time as I'm busy preparing for another interview on CNN for the upcoming 10th anniversary of BWG.

Update: I'm not really being interviewed again, at least not yet. And the 10th anniversary isn't until October. But thanks just the same to well-wishers who e-mailed congratulations.

I hope you won't hate me because I got you ... April Fool.
