Stolen Skull Blues

Oriental Daily reports that a young woman and her two male friends tried to sell a human skull on the Internet for HK$28,000 (about US$3,590).

The trio claimed a Thai "high monk" had put a spell on it that would "lock a lover's heart". After a sucker placed an order, they raided a Fanling cemetery and plucked a skull from one of the woman's dead relatives.

The best part of the story?

That police learned of the scam when one of the young men turned himself in, claiming that spirits of the dead have been possessing him ever since he stole the skull.

Makes a perfect Hong Kong horror film plot.
