As though it weren't annoying enough to have TVs blaring at us on trains and buses, some Hong Kong taxis are now being fitted with screens to blast rear-seat passengers with advertisements.
The saving grace is that unlike other modes of transport, passengers can nuke the sound. But in the never-ending battle to shove products into the faces of consumers, marketers will find a way to work around this problem. The next thing you know entire skyscraper faces will be converted into Jumbotrons.
