Wits' End

Two months ago I began writing a feature article entitled Wits' End for The Peak magazine, "enjoyed by over 14,000 subscribers as well as First and Business Class passengers of Singapore Airlines, Air France, Lufthansa and Cathay Pacific."

The feature, located inside the back cover (on the magazine's last page, ha ha), brings iconic bits of Hong Kong to readers who may or may not be familiar with them. My goal is not only to amuse, but to shed light on facets of the city and its people that often are overlooked or missed, much as BWG does for visitors the world over.

So far I've had fun putting together these pieces, and I hope that folks reading them will not only be entertained, but come away saying "I didn't know that", whether it's learning why Hong Kongers queue the way they do, or how some people believe the Lam Tsuen Wishing Tree can make their wishes come true.

Remember that the next time you're in the pointy end of a plane.
