Grocery Bliss

A slight change in routine saw me entering a local food store moments after it opened instead of after my workout.

The place was deserted, save for a couple of other shoppers. It was shopping nirvana: the fruit wasn't beat up, the canned food wasn't dented, and the eggs hadn't been picked over or broken. I got everything I needed in less than 10 minutes without having to navigate around aisle-blockers straining to decide on a brand of cooking oil.

Best of all, I didn't have anyone pressing me at the checkout. Shopping in a New Territories grocery store is downright pleasant at 7.30am.

Remember that should you ever choose to live here.
