Gecko Surgery
While we were away a couple of geckos moved in.
The smaller of the two has made the kitchen his prime domain; I have to be careful not to step on him by accident every time I go in there.
Then I noticed he was having trouble running, so I went in for a closer look, where I discovered a dust bunny wrapped around his right forefoot and part of his left as well.
Concerned his impaired movement would affect his ability to find food, I shooed him back and forth with my hands until he ran out of steam. While he caught his breath I gently held his body in place while performing a delicate "lintectomy", so as not to injure him.
He'll be chasing ants again in no time.
