Let's Not Get Physical

By and large the locker and shower rooms at Physical (the gym where I work out) are kept clean, but from time to time I find things in the shower stalls that ought not be there.

Such as used band-aids, or butane lighters. Once I even found a cigarette butt; who the heck smokes while taking a shower?

Whatever; some people are slobs who can't use the rubbish bin though it sits just a few feet away, but the most recent and worst item I've seen on a shower shelf was an empty condom wrapper.

There are only two reasons someone would use a condom in the shower, neither of which I want to dwell upon. And no, making balloon animals isn't either of them.

I'm just waiting for one of the cleaners to mention his find to the management, whereupon I'm certain that signs will be posted banning condom-related behaviour in the showers.

I'm still creeped out by it.
