The Great Gecko Escape

Geckos are the coolest lizards ever.

I spotted another one sneaking into the house; it ran into my office and hid itself in the wiring behind the desk.

Later, when I saw the gecko near the bookshelf, I cornered it to see what it would do. The little guy had nowhere to run, so he jumped onto the ball of my thumb, ran up my wrist and then across my forearm before leaping to the floor to make his great escape.

Any gecko gutsy enough to pull that off deserves to stay, but I hope he doesn't try to crawl into the computer case to get warm and fry himself on the components.
