Keep Say My Guts
I love getting e-mail from Hong Kongers who visit the site.
After reading Escalator Educator, Alice sent this wonderful message:
Hello, you must familiar with my email again by this time, yes! this is Alice again since caught up by your brilliant photos gallery, well as a matter of fact, I keen on reading reading some of your "says" at your page, and this morning, I have found your very update words today, regarding about "escalator educator".
You are really HKers reader who totally sense most of the people who really egoish with their etiquette, it has been since and then for all those HKers when using it, as I am local HKer, I've been taking this "deleivery machine" for most of my life time, I really concerning myself only STAND on my right and WALK on my left, but still, the most and most of HKers are pretty non-sense and with very unconsiderable (no matter who is well dressed in suit, or woman at elderly, or "look decency", fashion beauty heelies... has been counted) mind that still loves to put themselves in to very outstanding "status" to show.."I'm standing alone, I don't move".
Besides, people just don't care any at all about surroundings signages or any people who actually starring at him/she that blocking their ways "in a big way".... well in fact, people are still keep doing this, unless those escalator make a yellow line to divided two lanes, right for standing, and left for walk, just like Taipei practices.
Can I quote your articles to forward emails to my friends and pass away? And let your message to let every knows, how bad it is. I hope you don't mind.
Actually, I wrote to you with regarding your article this time to get vent out, and now I spilled it, ... Thanks alot.
Thanks for your kind attention on this matter, sorry to bother you again. Keep say your guts,
Regards
Alice
While amused by her quirky English, I'm not going to poke fun at it, because the meaning is clear enough, and I can't say in Cantonese what she wrote here, let alone write it in Chinese.
Besides, I was most impressed with her enthusiasm. That, and she gave me a new tagline for the site:
BWG: the place where I keep say my guts.
