Hello Kitty Unit

The man on the train is wearing a polo shirt with the logo of Hong Kong's Police Tactical Unit.

He's also wearing khaki shorts, grey shoes and mauve-coloured socks. Coordination is not his strong suit.

His mobile phone rings; he takes the call and I overhear someone giving him a surname. He asks the caller to hold for a moment so he can look it up.

And he pulls out a Hello Kitty notepad.

So it must be serious business, then.
