Meat vendors in Hong Kong get away with behaviour that would never fly in Canada.

This includes hanging entrails and organs on hooks in open-air street markets. For those who love hearts and parts, the system offers the opportunity to inspect the goodies up close.

Sure it's fresh, the way the Cantonese like it, but no refrigeration means it doesn't stay fresh long.

And the smell?

It makes me glad I'm not a butcher.
