Flap Frip Frap

A guy got on the train carrying a newspaper and a folding fan.

The fan's fabric was loose and thus made a flapping noise when the man fanned himself. Were that not irritating enough, he'd flip the fan closed to change the position or page of the newspaper, and then flip the fan open again.

For 15 minutes all I heard was: flap flap flap flap flap frrrip! rustle rustle rustle frrraaap! flap flap flap flap flap ...
