Hong Kong Disneyland is the Angriest Place on Earth.
Thanks to its flexible ticketing system, in which people can purchase tickets that can be used at any time within six months (but aren't guaranteed entry on any specific day) hordes of visitors turned up to find themselves locked out of a capacity-filled park.
Most put-out were mainland Chinese families who had travelled great distances on tours and didn't have the option to purchase fixed-date tickets in advance.
Hong Kong Disneyland suffered further protests ... after locking its gates to ticket holders for a second consecutive day.
... visitors shouted abuse at Disney staff and security guards after park management told them ... that it had already reached its daily limit, unofficially estimated at 30,000 visitors.
Some visitors rocked the main gates and a handful scaled the spiked barriers.
Those who climbed the gates helped others, including children, to get over.
Security guards escorted a few invaders off the premises but others roamed the gated area freely.
In a word: chaos. This AP news video* gives you a taste of the insanity.
I'm surprised no one was impaled on the gates.
