How to write a C-pop song:

1. Take the melody from the first line of Cecilia by Simon & Garfunkle;

2. Mix with the first six words of the lyrics of Bye Bye Love by the Everly Brothers;

3. Then switch to Mandarin and change the melody outright to avoid being sued.

So much for originality.
