The Retail Shuffle

When you live in an area for a while, you get to know the shops and what they offer.

You know where your favourite items are located; you can drop in any time, pick up your goods and be out in minutes.

But in Hong Kong, that never happens. Finding what I need is a perpetual guessing game because stores are forever rearranging their shelves for no apparent reason. Some do it every week.

I understand that store managers desire fresh presentation, but creating the retail equivalent of an Easter Egg hunt through senseless shuffling is maddening.
