Reptilian Commerce

The latest in weird Hong Kong advertising comes in the form of a creepy TV spot, in which a woman is seated beside an elderly man as she extols a miracle energy drink.

The camera zooms in tight on the old man's face while he drains a glass and then smiles as though he's struggling not to spit out what he just quaffed.

The view switches to a pan on a vague, swimming shape before settling on a package labelled "Crocodile Placenta".

Oh yeah, that makes me want to run right out and grab a box ...
