After hearing media reports that Tai Cheong Bakery will close its doors after more than 50 years in business because of a massive rent hike, over 200 people formed a line to buy egg tarts.
Why? Because the final colonial governor, Chris Patten, loved them so much he called Tai Cheong's egg tarts the best in the world.
