Leech!

This will make you squirm.

While hiking, a local woman washed her face in a freshwater stream.

Two weeks later she was having problems with intermittent nose bleeds and blockage. The woman ended up in a hospital's emergency department. While she was waiting, a two-inch leech slowly slid out of her nose. A doctor tried to capture it, but the leech retreated.

Why does this remind me of the joke about the tapeworm and the cookie?

Later, another doctor applied anaesthetic to the woman's nose, the leech went rigid and was pulled out.

Told you you'd squirm.
