Hell's High-Rises
High-rise columbaria are being considered as a solution to the demand for cremation urn space.
Given the local misnomer for the afterlife, I foresee the unofficial name Hell's High-Rises.
Imagine these conversational snippets:
· "I'll be there soon, but first I have to stop by Hell."
· "I've visited Hell ... it's quite nice."
· "Excuse me, but can you give the directions to Hell?"
· "Hell is prestigious; all our deceased relatives are there."
Choosing an official name will be tricky; it mustn't clash with current Houses of Heavenly Glory. How about:
· Afterlife Estates
· Golden Urn Gardens
· Cremation Court
· Ching Ming Mansions
In the right location, several could be built: a veritable city of the dead.
The most obvious question is: will people have to pay more for a niche on higher floors, as they do with flats?
