How does one "accidentally intercept" a letter when the name is distinct?

The envelope contained a small package of dried flowers and a note explaining that a simple spell could help allay her fears that the family was about to sack her.

By putting the flowers in the family's drinks and chanting a spell the employers would become gentle and almost submissive to her, the husband explained, according to the report.

That would be a good way to ask for a raise, more time off and given a couple of Indonesian women have fallen to their deaths, no more window washing.

Fearing for their safety, the family swiftly terminated the contract with the domestic helper, who has since returned to Indonesia, it added.

They should be grateful her husband didn't advise her to cut the head off a live chicken and dance around flat with it while naked.

Black magic is still rife today in Southeast Asian countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand, where spells and curses are cast to serve different purposes.

If she wanted to put the whammy on her employer, first she should have cast a spell to avoid being discovered.
