Andrea Bocelli, in town for a concert, said he likes the sound of Cantonese and Mandarin languages.
Bocelli should have been more careful with his statements: some folks will treat them as permission to gab through his performance. Having never been in front of a Hong Kong audience, he should also expect the trilling of mobile phones during the concert.
He shouldn't be surprised if he hears his music rendered in polyphonic ring tones coming from the crowd, followed by: "Wai?"
