According to a Fear Factor factoid, 41% of Hong Kongers fear heights.

Acrophobia is a morbid fear of high places; it might be closer to the truth to say folks are uneasy about heights. Were that many acrophobic, high-rises would be empty.

Not as many suicides would choose the air-walk as their preferred exit method, either, though it's one heck of a way to overcome the phobia.

I can hear Richard Dreyfus now: "Death Therapy, Bob. It's a guaranteed cure."
