Fancl House commercials are frightening.

View large image An ad depicts several Asian women, including Hong Kong spokeswoman Gigi Leung Wing Kei (梁詠琪), wearing masks called AC White. When removed, the women's faces have the pallor of death. I've seen corpses with more vitality.

Their skin isn't lighter, it has no colour whatsoever. One of the models gives the camera a creepy, lingering smile*, like a vampire sizing up her next meal.

God forbid she should step into the sunlight; she'd burst into flames.
