Handley

Reader Hanley Ng sent this via e-mail in response to Hong Kong Handles:

Upon arrival in the USA, my parents decided that I should have an American handle. We decided on "Henry" (good name for a Chinese boy, no?).

The next day, my Mom and Dad takes me to the local grammar school to enroll in the second grade. When the principal asked my newly arrived parents what's my name, they tried to say ... "Henry".

Well, my name has been Hanley ever since (those pesky L's and R's!).

That's marvelous; quite a funny story.

Thanks, Hen- er ... Hanley!
