Please Do Ignore

The Lo Wu Commercial Building has posted giant signs on the walls and on small sandwich-boards at the entrance/exit of each escalator, which read:

My Noble Guest:
In order to avoid the cheat of selling or serving illegally, please do ignore the person doing business without shops. And please call us if you know something about it. We are waiting for your call.

This initiative has gotten the pirated DVD hawkers off the main floor, but now they follow people up and down the escalators. In the space of two minutes I was approached eight times, mostly from behind, by guys sneaking up on me to whisper in my ear of bargains to be had.

As the sign said, I did ignore them.
