First-Class or Economy?

While in Macao, I dropped by the Hotel Lisboa to get photographs of its gaudy interior.

As I wandered the labyrinth hallways connecting the hotel to shops and the casino, I couldn't avoid noticing the provocatively-dressed expensive horizontal refreshment strolling hither and yon.

Each woman discreetly and knowingly smiled as she passed. Uninterested, I finished taking pictures and left.

On my way back to my hotel (the Mandarin Oriental, where such things aren't tolerated) I passed another casino. Adjacent to it was a girlie bar. Out front, in the lane, a few young women stood chatting.

I paid no attention to them, but when I turned my head in their direction to scan for photo-worthy subjects, one of them smiled lasciviously.

Then she winked. I couldn't help myself; I laughed aloud at the absurd cliché. I was surprised she didn't saunter over to enquire if I was looking for a good time.

Horizontal refreshment for those on a budget.
