The Blue

One thing I love about Hong Kong is I can pack up and head into the hills for a day hike.

I went to Clear Water Bay for a climb along the ridge on the High Junk Peak Country Trail, where I found this little fellow.

View large image Its colours were iridescent and it drew my eye as it flitted about. It was skittish; of three photos I took, this was the best.

I know another place to find butterflies, and they might be less flighty. It's not far.

All I have to do is put on my hiking boots.
