Kite Delight
On a photo expedition in Ma On Shan, I found a group of men flying kites off Chek Mun Hoi Hap (Tolo Channel).
They were members of the Hong Kong Fliers, a group devoted to the simple pleasures of flying kites. I had a brief conversation with one fellow; he allowed me to take several photos.
As I left the shoreline, I spotted a man alone on the rocky beach.
His expression of pure, unabashed joy made my day ... no, that's not right, it made my week. That's the look of a man having real fun. I wish everyone could find something that would allow them to cast aside their worries and feel like a kid again.
I left with a huge grin on my face.
