Big Buddha

Another day, another long hike.

View large image A bus trip took me up the twisting road to Ngong Ping, home of the Po Lin Monastery and the world-famous Big Buddha.

From there I hiked down to Tung Chung, making sure to stop by the old Qing Dynasty fort that's still standing, complete with cannons.

Think of it as walking from peace to war.
