Mooncake Morons

It's difficult to make a speedy getaway with a full shopping cart.

Two of Hong Kong's not-so-bright criminals found that out when they put nine boxes of mooncakes into a cart and bolted from a supermarket. It didn't take long for two employees and a security guard to catch up with them.

Why mooncakes? They couldn't have been that hungry. Is there a market for hot mooncakes, and is it easy to move them? Do they stand in an alley with bulky boxes under their overcoats, hissing at pedestrians, "Psssst ... wanna buy some m o o n cakes?"

It's a sure bet they won't be served mooncake in prison.
