Lazy or Stupid?

Sometimes people baffle me.

I was at the mall running errands. As I approached an elevated walkway connecting two shopping plazas, a scrum developed as people on both sides of an open door jammed up while trying to pass through.

The open door was of a two-door set; beside it was another set. Three doors sat unused as everyone tried to cram through the open one.

I watched for 10 seconds, shaking my head in disbelief, and then walked around the nest of nitwits to one of the other doors. I would have written it off as an anomaly had it not happened again at the other end.

That's either laziness or irrevocable stupidity.

I'd say laziness, unless stupid people gravitate towards one another like lemmings.
