Country Parks Dumps

People desperate to get away from city crowds took to country parks with great zest, and took tonnes of trash with them, leaving it behind with nary a thought toward how it was to be removed.

I saw plenty of evidence of this during my last two hikes into the hills.

Signs along trails request hikers to bag and take out whatever trash they create, because there aren't any litter bins on remote and difficult hiking paths.

Garbage left behind is a compelling argument that many people just don't give a rip.
