Tai Cheek
I've completed learning Tai Chi Sword form.
By completed I mean I've finished learning the basic movements. That doesn't mean I'm anywhere near smooth and graceful. That will take much longer to achieve. But I'm excited because sword form gives me another discipline to master. Once I get a better grip on the fundamentals and improve my style, I'll learn the longer traditional form.
The physical exercise is great. I've discovered muscles I'd forgotten existed. That's because they're sore at the moment, not hospital sore like you get when you overdo it lifting weights and can't move the next day, but hurting nonetheless. The form is kicking my ass.
I had no idea flinging a sword about would train muscles in my butt.
