SARS: Strictly Avoiding Reliable Statistics

Mainland China continues to tell the world it's safe and that the SARS outbreak is under control.

View large image Now that it has shown up in Beijing, China may be forced to admit the problem is larger than they've been letting on.

With their history of spurious statistics concerning anything negative, no one in the world believes they've had only 1280 cases. Or 53 deaths.

If they're willing to lie to the world now, what might they be willing to lie about when the world comes to visit during the 2008 Olympics?
