Walking through the mean streets of Wan Chai, where knock-off clothing can be had at bargain prices (if you're into cheap crap, that is) I spotted a sign posted on the edge of a bin filled with jeans:
Levis
It had a big red "X" drawn over the letter "V".
Curious to see what that was all about, I strolled over to the bin and made a quick inspection. They looked like Levis, with identical Levis-style labels on the backs. Closer inspection revealed one exception. The name-brand looked like this:

The "V" wasn't there, as though that would get them off the hook if customs officers came around.
I didn't check, but I wouldn't have been surprised if the loop sewn below the hip pocket read: Reb Tad.
