Toilet Trauma

Ah, the joys of living in an old building in Hong Kong.

We all know what a nightmare it is when the toilet becomes clogged and overflows onto the floor. It's one thing if it happens because someone tried to flush too much paper. It's another when you return home to find your toilet filled with nasty green water, toilet paper and other sewage, and the water level is coming up on its own.

A plumber is in the bathroom right now, trying to get the toilet unclogged, but the problem may be deeper down the line than he realises. I've heard workmen screwing around with the outside plumbing for the past two days. They messed up the works, creating back-pressure that resulted in the mess we're facing.

When I find out who's responsible, heads will roll.
