Fire in the Hall

I smelled smoke, so I stepped outside to determine its origin.

A guy stood in the hallway with a metal box, burning paper. Many people do this during the Hungry Ghosts Festival, but that doesn't take place until later this year. He may have been burning Hell money, as is the custom when someone dies, but he didn't look sad.

I surmised he was burning trash, but no matter the reason, he should have done it outdoors.

Stupid git.
