View large image The famous Bird Garden in Mong Kok can be found at the end of Flower Market Road. It has been refurbished, now housing several shops filled with birds and accessories.

Some feel the improvements have taken away the character of the old marketplace, which had been filled with shabby, decrepit structures; but as tourists often go there, the government felt it needed the facelift.

One thing they weren't able to remove is the odor of all that bird guano. Phew!
