Hong Kong had its coldest day of 2002 when the temperature plunged to -0.3C at Tai Mo Shan.
Most urban areas hit a low of 8C while the rural areas fell to 6C. For Hong Kong, that's bloody cold, considering most dwellings have no built-in indoor heating. It's still too warm for snow to develop, but with the humidity at over 90%, we're getting cold rain.
The upside is hot pot restaurants all over Hong Kong are thriving, with tables booked past 10pm.
Proof that no matter what happens, one can find a way to enjoy life.
